Meota sat in the forest near the Cullen home letting her scent catch the air. She was curious as to who would come and investigate her. She was kind of tired of all this hiding herself. If she could gain more territory then when her brother comes to find her there will be more fore warning if another war broke out. How beautiful it was out here. Meota laid down in and morphed into her human form. She yawned and closed her eyes dozing off.

Edward found himself wandering through the La Push forest. He needed time to get his thoughts together; did he really want to be with Bella? Was it really the right way to live, the right thing to do, the right way to let her down?
Suddenly, Edward caught the scent of another being somewhere near him among the green territory. someone was out here -- not some one, but something. Their thoughts didn't seem dangerous, but it didn't hurt to be careful. Something about . . gaining territory? Their brother?
Edward took off in the direction the scent was coming from before he could change his mind.

Meota laid asleep in the earthy grass. The sun reined down through the trees down on her skin. It however didn't do anything like the Cullen's skin did. She was stuck inside her dreams which were nightmares. She was reliving Scott's Death in her mind over and over. As Edward was a few feet Meota's heart started to beat again and it was beating extremely fast. She Jolted awake but was very still she didn't really notice him there. She felt the pain of her heart pumping more blood than her body could hold. She used her nails and cut her hand and let herself calm down as she excess blood drained out of her system. Her heart finally stopped beating as she finally calmed down. Her hand stopped bleeding so she licked the cut and it in moments sealed over. She still hadn't noticed Edward.

Edward felt his heart stop momentarily as he caught the scent of something sweet, irresistable -- human blood. There it was -- the familiar temptation growing in his chest, rising to his throat -- would he be able to control himself? As he sniffed more carefully, he realized that it wasn't pure human blood; it was a mix. Similar to the way a dog is a mutt -- a mix of 2 breeds. This person, whoever they were, was either a hybrid or very good at mixing scents. Female, he finally distinguished it. Edward stood in the shadow of the trees lining the soft, warm body of the hybrid lying in the center of the clearing. So peaceful, so quiet, so. . harmless. But no one was really 'harmless' these days, though, were they? With Victoria back and after Bella, Edward barely had time to do anything by himself because he was too busy worrying about everything. He stepped forward into view and crossed his arms, waiting for this mysterious stranger to wake up and notice his presence.

She finally noticed him and smiled" Why hello there. You seem very trouble minded. Is Bella on the brain again?" She gave a soft laugh and rolled over onto her stomach and looked at him" You could just ask me if I mean harm instead of debating it in your mind. Oh and thank you for the complement... Very nice of you." She smiled again and looked up at him mischievously. She kept her mind blank as she didn't him it.

Edward leaned back against a tree as he examined the speaker. For a few seconds he didn't say anything, afraid that something he said would provoke a fight. But then he realized that there would be no fight here; she was a mind reader as well as Edward; how convenient. But that meant his thoughts weren't safe here, but then again, nothing was safe anywhere.
"Hello to you too. You seem very. . calm. I hope you don't mind me asking. . how do you know so much about me when I've not said a word to you? I'm sure that much about my life isn't on my mind, unless I'm more paranoid about everything than I thought I was." He grinned crookedly and cocked his head.
He was sure that his mind didn't reveal that much about his life. If it didn't, he hoped that he wasn't so predictable. If this was true then it would be a definite shame.
"Do you happen to know anything about Victoria?" He might as well not sugar-coat it; Edward just wanted a straight answer for once. At this point, he also needed as much information as possible.

" I dig around for information ran into Bella picked somethings up from her. Victoria? Not a lot I heard she wants to kill Bella because she killed James. I liked James he was fun to hang out with now and again. Though he was a trouble maker. I think you should have just left with Bella when Alice had the vision. Save me the trouble of listening to Victoria. Though I would be mad too. Kill the one man I love I think I would kill you and everyone you know. Though Victoria likes to play and eye for and eye. I like to get rid of annoyances... and then some. I can't read every thought just every other word. It sounds like someone talking short handed or with less word in an attempt to be vague. So if your having doubts why did you marry her? OR have your lovely daughter? doesn't make too much sense Dear Edward."

Edward sneered at Meo, irritated. Who did this girl think she was, telling him what to do? So what he was having doubts about Bella? He'd loved her then, but now it was wearing off. Easy as pie. Meo didn't belong in his life; he concentrated on the real reason he was talking to her.
"You seem very confident in your ways of speaking. Telling me what to do. I appreciate your opinion on this, but I think I'll stick to listening to my instinct, if you don't mind. James was a terrible person; he was right to run away. And I will stay by Bella's side until Victoria is finally finished; she'll never get near us."

Meota looked at him smirking she sighed" No need to get your boxers in a twist. I was just saying Victoria wouldn't think James was dead and such if you had handled it better. Get a divorce if you don't love her. Being with someone should be because your willing to die for them over and over and over. In case you didn't know. Now lose the 'tude, I was only being honest or would you like me to stroke your ego to the point its bigger than one of these werewolves? You much rather have me be honest then me turn you into a total jackass wouldn't you?"

Edward rolled his eyes and sighed. "I was right about your cocky attitude. And for your information, Victoria and James have nothing to do with you. I don't know why you think that you have a right to know everything about our lives." Edward knew that, somewhere deep down in his heart, he'd be crushed if he left Bella, but there would be no going back. He'd already broken Bella's heart too many times to make her go through that again; even though he no longer thought he'd die for her, he wasn't willing to put her through that torture again. No one would be that cruel.
Speaking of cruel, it bought him back to Meo's remarks regarding Victoria and James; it was odd that his thoughts revealed so much. "Look, I don't want any trouble, so why don't you just go back to wherever the hell you came from and stay out of our personal lives, okay? I'm sure Bella won't be happy to know that you're here with me."

Meota sighed" I have no interest in you. I personally know Victoria and James thank you. Maybe you should stop being such an ass. I haven't done anything wrong and you don't have the right to tell me to leave an area I live in. Maybe Victoria should kill you, your starting to sound as horrible as she describes you Stop freaking out your thoughts don't reveal that much I'm not even really trying to read your mind. Bella shouldn't care one way or the other because as I said I have no interest in you. You shouldn't be so defensive all the time, If I wanted to hurt you, Bella, or your family You'd know. I like you Edward but your that wasp that always stings me. Maybe I'll catch up with you when your being nice?" She got up and began walking off.

Edward shook his head, smirking to himself.
"Wow, Meo. You 'know James and Victoria' personally, huh? Well then, I'm very sorry for your loss. You should just go off on your own and find someone who's interested in letting you butt into their personal lives; although I highly doubt that anyone would want to be around you. I knew there was a reason I didn't like you very much when I first met you.. and by the way, take a bath, You smell like wet dog. A bit of advice."
Edward sat down on the soft grass, grinning to himself successfully. That should keep her away for a while, he thought.

She sighed and looked at him " Where do you want me to go then? I've been everywhere. New York, Maine, Alaska, Alabama, Oregon, Georgia, Florida, Nevada, California. I've been everywhere.... No one wants me anymore.... So you tell me where to go where I won't have to feel like I did something wrong by walking into town. You tell me where I can go and I'll Leave Edward. I didn't come to make trouble or to be made out like I'm an awful person...." she buried her face into her knees and exhaled.
